In this private residence in Falls Church, Virginia, Atlas Concorde USA Hero stone-look porcelain floor tiles define the mudroom space. For the design, Hero Snow and Hero Silver tiles in a 12”x24” format were selected and custom cut into 12”x12” squares to create a classic checkerboard pattern.
The space serves as a transitional area between indoors and outdoors, where the neutral tones of the floor enhance natural light and complement the cabinetry, creating a bright and balanced environment. The geometric layout adds visual interest while maintaining a clean and timeless aesthetic.
Inspired by natural stone, Hero porcelain tiles combine refined looks with reliable technical performance. The flooring is resistant, easy to maintain, and ideal for high-traffic residential areas such as mudrooms and laundry spaces, where durability and practicality are essential.
